Make it Happen May----Plant Mom???
Make it Happen May-
In today's Dose of Uniqueness....Am I becoming a plant mom?

I have really enjoyed the aesthetically pleasing look of plants and flowers as home decor. Growing up, my grandmother planted flowers outdoors, but I don't recall her having too many indoor plants...come to think of it...my mom didn't have many either.
But now! OMG, I am totally feeling the vibes of greenery!
I read where plants are great air purifiers. Since being in Collierville, I have been following a local blogger and interior designer, Carmeon Hamilton (@carmeon.hamilton on IG) and her home is decorated so nice and I really feel that the plants just takes her design to the next level.
In 2019 I purchased two plants from the Commissary (military grocery store) for my office and OMG, they died within a week. I watered as directed, rotated and place them in the light...artificial due to me working in a cubicle...but still not green thumb. Then my good sister Nicole came to visit and educated me on the goodness of plants and once I visited her home... I was sold. I slowly started to buy more plants.
More recently my other good Sis, Claudia has been educating me on the importance of being mindful of what I eat, who I am around, what I read and what I tolerated. She also recommended some great sources which lead me to stumble upon Queen Afua! Game changer. In her "Heal Thyself" and "Sacred Woman" books, she talks about the importance of plants, as well as green juices.
As I spoke on in the previous blog, I ordered Supa Nova Supa Mega Greens...which I later found out that he studied under Queen Afua!
I'm super excited about this new journey I am on. I can honestly say I am at peace and I thank God for it.. I hope that I continue to float in this zen! I feel like the people who I currently have in my circle action appreciate me and love me. My cousin (Nikki) has been a huge supporter and motivator. I truly feel that I can tell her anything with out any judgment. Today while we were talking, I actually got full (as southern old people would say) and started crying while we were talking because I was actually feeling guilty about this new job and peace...she quickly wiped my tears and dropped a mighty word! So thankful for God fearing sisters!
Okay, back to the plants! LOL, Currently I am on the hunt for #monstera plant. My ship and good sis Roliza posted on the other day on her IG feed and I immediately fell in love! Unfortunately I have been unsuccessful in finding a #monstera in Collierville.
