Step Out in 2025

Don’t roll out, Step out in 2025!

If you are reading this… you are blessed to see another year! We made it yall, thank God we made it to 2025. This morning I woke up in a state of peace and calmness. This was a feeling that I hadn’t felt in a while.

I texted my Sis AJ a happy new year text and she responded back with beautiful pics of the beach (she lives in Florida). I made me a cup of coffee to go, packed my little Lululemon tote and headed to the beach. Mind you, I live in Norfolk Virginia and it’s 48 degrees and windy…but off to the beach I go. LOL.

Upon my arrival I took in all the vibes - the wind was blowing the waves and it sounded beautiful - but the wind was so disrespectful, It was blowing sand as well. Which ended up cutting my time at the beach short- so I didn’t journal like I wanted to at the beach, but did at my apartment pool area - which overlooks a beautiful Marina that was full of yacht and boats.

While I was journaling, my good sis Q called and we started chatting. She was on her way to the grocery store to pick up some items for her family taco night and she was raving about how lovely this couple looked and how beautiful the lady looked and smelled. I told her to compliment her and ask her what she was wearing. The fragrance the lady was wearing was Burberry Her (which I own and will be adding in rotation again, Thanks to AJ) and she was wearing a matching active set and a nice coat, but was well kept and put together. My sis Q was like “she makes me want to put on some clothes”, immediately I told her - moving forward we are going to Step out in 2025…no longer rolling out of bed, looking average - we are going to Step out of our homes looking like the Queens we are!

I plan to step out on faith more in 2025, step out of shadows and fear, step out of negativity, step out of insecurities, step out of people pleasing, step out of procrastination. The list goes on, but I will save them for my next blog.
