Affirmation April

Hello Friends!

Welcome back to another edition of Doses of Uniqueness!

It's April!  We are in Chapter 4 of 12!

This month I joined my cousin in "Affirmation April".  I'm excited about this theme for April.  I will be posting each affirmation on my Instagram page Doses of Uniqueness, so do yourself a favor...and follow me on IG. (thank you in advance)

Recapping from last month,, the theme for March was March Manifestations.  I plan on continuing to speak life and happiness in my life, manifesting greatness and believing bigger for the rest of the year.

I must admit, March was an emotional month.  I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster.  I do believe the time change has a lot to do with it, but overall I was emotionally drained.  I was allowing distractions to get the best of me. I was allowing things and people who didn't bring joy...but a negative emotion to my life, to drain me.  I would dread getting up for work, neglected by devotional and prayer time, I wasn't journalling, eating unhealthy foods and snacks, spending unnecessary money, sleep pattern was all out of sync.  On the 22nd of March, I came across a devotional from Joyce Meyers Titled "Don't be Busy, Be Fruitful.  This devotional had some amazing journaling prompts that I will share with you:

Are you doing stuff that isn't bearing fruit?  Is it busyness stealing your peace?

Are there things you are doing but know why you are doing them anymore?

I was allowing busyness, the time change, and unnecessary distractions to limit me from being fruitful, but I'm back!  Recalibrated and excited for this new month and these Affirmations!

Today, I plan on doing a little cleaning, doing a little grocery shopping and enjoying this sunshine!
